Somatic &/or LGBTIQA+/rainbow Professional Development for professionals

If you work in a helping profession (eg. counselling, therapy, nursing, complementary medicine, etc) and are interested in learning how to integrate somatic (body-focused) work and/or with LGBTIQA+/rainbow folks into your own professional practice, please get in touch: click here to contact me.

Therapeutic Framework

My therapeutic framework is a synthesis of psychodynamic (Jungian), somatic (body-focussed), creative (Gestalt), IFS, person-centred, and existential therapies. I incorporate mindfulness, narrative and creative forms of therapy to assist holistic growth and change. I respect and welcome the contributions that diverse community, artistic, cultural, ethnic, religious, meditation and spiritual practices can play in holistic healing.

Fees

Standard individual psychotherapy / counselling / supervision sessions (55 minutes) are charged on a sliding scale ($130-$200), depending on your income and circumstances. Please let me know what your personal circumstances are so we can agree on an equitable rate. (For more information, please refer to PACFA’s page on therapy costs.)

Unjust government funding systems prevent you from receiving Medicare rebates from psychotherapists at this time, but if you have private health cover, some health funds will offer a rebate. I am a registered provider with BUPA, Medibank, AHM, and Emergency Health Services. Please contact your private health fund for the specific rebates you may be eligible to receive.

To provide fair accessibility to appointments, please note there is a cancellation fee if less than 48 hours notice is given to change or cancel an appointment. This provides an opportunity for others to book in to limited spots that become available.

Contact me to arrange an appointment or if you have further questions.
